Federal WPC General Assembly meeting – 13 May 2025
A meeting of the General Assembly of the Women’s Parliamentary Caucus (WPC) was held today at Parliament House Islamabad. Secretary WPC Dr. Shahida Rehmani presided over the meeting. The agenda of the meeting was:
- Resolution Condemning Attacks by India on Women and Children.
- Briefing by the Chairperson of the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) on the ‘Benazir Hunarmand Programme 2025’
- Any other item with the permission of the Chair
The Chairperson & other high ranked officers from BISP and National Incubation Center Islamabad briefed the General Assembly.
Senators Ms. Falak Naz, Ms. Fawzia Arshad, Ms. Rahat Jamali, Ms. Husna Bano and MNAs Ms. Munaza Hassan, Ms. Samina Khalid Ghurki, Ms. Tahira Aurangzeb, Ms. Rana Ansar, Ms. Mussarat Rafique Mahesar, Dr. Nafisa Shah and Ms. Sabheen Ghauri attended the meeting.
