Members of the Women Parliamentary Caucus marked the occasion of International Women’s Day at the Punjab Assembly today. The PA session today also saw a spirited and substantive discussion on issues facing women in the province taken up by WPC including rights to inheritance, equitable pay, political representation and protection from violence & harassment.

The Caucus was supported by the Parliamentary Development Unit, an initiative of the Speaker Punjab Assembly, Malik Muhammad Ahmad Khan to undertake legislative capacity-building efforts at the Assembly.
