Strengthening WPC in Sindh
Under its European Union in Pakistan-funded Pakistan Women Leaders project, UN Women Pakistan, in collaboration with the Provincial Assembly of Sindh, convened a workshop to strengthen the Women’s Parliamentary Caucus (WPC).
Women parliamentarians and key stakeholders reflected on the WPC’s mandate, strengthened parliamentary consensus, and explored ways to advance pro-women laws and gender-responsive legislation through cross-party collaboration and stronger institutional mechanisms.
UN Women remains committed to supporting women leaders and parliamentary institutions to advance gender equality and inclusive democratic governance in Pakistan.
